1Arrival in Kathmandu Airport
Our representatives will be there at the airport before your arrival. You will get welcomed by our crew members to this beautiful country Nepal. After receiving you, they will take you to your hotel for the check-in and rest. Take enough rest after a long air trip. Optionally, you can choose to stroll around happening places of Kathmandu like Thamel, Palace Street, etc. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes in Kathmandu for hangouts.

2Free and Trek Arrangement day
Day 02 will be a free and trek arrangement day in Kathmandu. You will meet the guide and co of your Everest Three High Passes Trekking. After knowing your helping companions, you can go for sightseeing of Kathmandu city, which is an option. Kathmandu, the historical city holds many tourist attractions like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square Then after, you will spend some time on important trek shopping(if needed). Thamel is a hub for trekking needs, you can buy or rent various trek essentials. This will be the last night in Kathmandu before the start of 17-day long Everest Three High Passes Trekking. Therefore, try to get as much as urban life before you enter the rural living.

3Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla, and Trek to Phakding
Early morning, you will get hotel transfer to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport for the Lukla flight. Lukla, the gateway of Everest, is in air-distance of 35 minutes from Kathmandu. The aircraft will spread its wings to fly over Kathmandu to the more and more green hills and whitish mountains. Make sure that you get the window seat cause there will be ample views to enjoy. From lush forest, scattered human settlements, rivers and most of all the Himalyan belt. And without knowing, you will land in Lukla airport. Lukla will embrace you with its amazing landscapes and some settlements. You have to do some permit related things in Lukla. And after that, you are ready to move on ahead towards the foothills of Everest. This will be the start of your trek as you sail forward through the Dudh Kosi Valley by leaving Lukla behind. After one hour of easy descent from Lukla, you will reach Cheplung village, the first of many sherpa villages. Mount Khumbila, a sacred mountain of locals, is easily seen from the village. From Cheplung, you will continue descending towards Phakding and inbetween you will pass by some suspension bridges and Mani walls. You will spend the night in Phakding.

4Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Soon after breakfast, your trek to Namche Bazaar will start. Yesterday was a short and comfortable trek from Lukla to Phakding. Today will be a bit more strenuous and longer trek than yesterday. But don't get upset, the surrounding will turn more and more scenic as you trek ahead. You will trek over the riverbed trail of Dudh Koshi River which is full of pine trees. With crossing several prayer flag marked suspension bridges, you will make in and out from one village to another. Then you will enter through the gate of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo. After confirming the entry permits, you will be allowed to enter ahead. And one more time you will join the river trails to reach the confluence of two important rivers; Bhote Koshi and Dudh Koshi. Next, you climb the suspension bridge built in honour of the early climbers of Mount Everest; Tenzing Norway Sherpa and Edmund Hillary. Then it is time for the ascend up to Namche Bazaar. Thoroughly enjoy the views of Mt Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse while walking. You will push yourself through pine forest for 3 hours to arrive at Namche Bazaar.

5Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar(3,440m)
Namche Bazaar is a hub and the most happening place of the entire Khumbu region. And today will be the acclimatization day to make you comfortable with higher altitudes. Heading directly to more higher areas without any rest or acclimatization day can cause altitude sickness. Hence, as an excuse of acclimatization day you will explore the entire Namche Bazaar and adjacent settlements. Here, you will start with a visit to Sagarmatha National Park resource center which stays at a hillock. The office contains important displays related to early pioneers of Everest, floras and faunas, and Sherpa culture. Then you will reach out for two biggest settlements of Khumbu region; Khumjung and Khunde. Both of the villages are lived by many families of Sherpas where you will find chortens, monasteries to explore. Traversing through these villages means you can learn their lifestyle and cultures. And then you will return to Namche Bazaar to enjoy the evening views of mountains like Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Everest. Spend some time around cafes and restaurants, bakeries before returning to the trekking trails tomorrow. You can also do some essential shoppings there if you want to. There is no such place ahead on the trek after leaving the Namche Bazaar.

6Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Pack the backpack and tie your laces, it is time to say goodbye to Namche Bazaar until next time. As you walk ahead, you will find that the views are also getting better and better. The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche is on flat trails with not too steep climbs and not too fast descents. You will enjoy walking with mountain views from all around. Mt Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Nuptse will be visible at different points of trail. Then comes the lush forest of Pine and Rhododendron to provide you some shades while the sun shines brightly. Out of the woods, you will pass by some suspension bridges, prayer flags and wheels.You will be still some k.m away from Tengboche when the Tengboche Monastery starts to appear. Tengboche Monastery is a widely known and important buddhist site. It is also a major highlight of this Everest Three High Passes Trekking. Every person going for either trekking or climbing, they take blessings from here for the success of the trip. After the pleasant trek of 6 hours, you will be here at Tengboche village. 7Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
After an inspiring night in the surroundings of Tengboche Monastery, it is time to move ahead. You will start with a gentle descent from the village towards the river corner of Imja Khola. Descend will be through Deboche village where you can observe some small Mani stone walls and chortens. After crossing the suspension bridge of Imja river you will start a hill trek to reach Pangboche. From the top of Pangboche, you can view Mt Ama Dablam clearly. Don't miss visiting Pangboche Monastery, a century old monastery with religious importance. After the visit, you will rejoin the route to reach Dingboche before dusk. Dingboche is a famous village in the Everest region which is popularly known as the last settlement before Mt Everest. Village is nicely settled by Sherpas where the beautiful terraced fields and stone built houses lie. You can enjoy the breathtaking views of mountains all day long. And, the evening show of peaks is more watchable when the sun lights it for one list time of the day.

8Trek from Dingboche to Chhukung (4,730m/14,334ft): 3-4 hrs
This is the shortest trek day of the entire Everest Three High Passes Trekking. You can take the walk easily by enjoying the scenic surroundings of Dingboche. So, you will start with moving through the stone bordered fields to leave Dingboche behind. Then the trail is upwards to the higher part of Imja valley and from there you will see extraordinary Mt Lhotse and Ama Dablam. Walking for some 3 km from morning here comes the Bibre(4750m) which is a place with yak stable and temporary settlements. Island Peak, the popular peak for beginners, is located north from the Bibre. The peak seems like an island in between a sea of snows from distance and that is how it was named Island peak. Enjoy the view of mountains there by taking a short break. Chhukung, your overnight destination is only 30 minutes of walk from the Bibre. You have to reach there before dusk as there will be an option to hike the nearest high pass; Chhukung Ri Pass(5546m). Trekkers love to hike to the top to enjoy the mountain shows of peaks like Lhotse, Baruntse, Ama Dablam and some more. Your overnight stay will be in Chhukung.

9Trek from Chhukung to Lobuche via Kongma La Pass
After the acclimatization stay at Chhukung, it is time to scale one of the three high passes of trek; Kongma La Pass(5,535m). So have a tight breakfast and leave the village to climb the steep trail ahead. The trail will take you to the northwest side of Chhukung where you can clearly view the Nuptse Glacier and Island Peak Valley. Then you have to make an ascent through the east side of Niyang Khola Valley where the trails are sloppy and stony. As moving ahead in the valley, you will see an area dotted with many iced lakes. And climbing up through the valley comes the Kongma La Pass. The climb is steep and your stamina gets examined here. Take breaks if needed, enough water and enjoy the view, this way you can do the ascend easily. Upon reaching the top of the much awaited Kongma La Pass(5,535m), you will get to see some of the best views of Everest region. Mountains, glaciers, iced lakes, valleys, hills you can capture the whole horizon from there. You’ll get totally satisfied from the views and the decision of picking Everest Three High Passes Trekking over others. After enough time at the top, you will fall down through stone and rough trails towards Lobuche. This particular part is the most difficult as you have to descend through glacier made stones. While coming down, you can sight at the world's highest glacier; Khumbu Glacier. Following the world's highest glacier to the north, you will reach Lobuche. Your overnight will be at one of the teahouses of Lobuche.

10Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep and then to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep
This is another key day of Everest Three High Passes Trekking as you will scale down the famous Everest Base Camp. Your trek to the foothill of Mt Everest will be through Lobuche to Gorak Shep trail. Gorak Shep is the final teahouse point of Everest Base Camp Trek which means you have to return to Gorak Shep after visiting Everest Base Camp. The trek starts from the rock and adventurous trails of Lobuche village upto base camp. However, you have to pause for a break and check in at Gorak Shep’s Tea house. And starting the trek again and then walking for some good hours you arrive at Everest Base Camp(5,364m). Before reaching the base camp you have to walk alongside of Khumbu glacier. As you will outreach the base camp of the world's highest mountain, you will get to see the mighty Everest with several other towering peaks. It's a historic moment in itself to be able to trek up to Everest Base Camp. And after some proud and beautiful moments at the base camp, you will fall back to Gorak Shep for a night stay.

11Trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Pathar and then to Dzonglha
Kala Pathar, the best viewpoint to observe the face of Mt Everest and himalyan sunrise. Today, you will opt for hiking the Kala Pathar before going to the overnight destination Dzonglha. Kala Pathar is at distance of 2 to 3 hours of hike from the Gorak Shep. If you can make it early before the sun comes up, the view is totally worthy. The sun rising and shining brightly just over the world’s highest peaks is an imaginary moment, you will get to experience that. The pictures taken at the Kala Pathar are unbeatable and incomparable with other palaces, it is that good. Most of the peaks are visible from the Kala Pathar; Mt Everest, Mt Lhotse, Mt Nuptse, Mt Pumori, Mt Ama Dablam. After the once in a lifetime moment in a Kala Pathar, it is time to trek to Dzonglha. You will retrace your footprints upto Lobuche via the Gorak Shep route. Reaching out for Dzonglha from the Kala Pathar, you have to walk over a rough riverbed route. After finishing the river bed trail, you will be at the bottom of a ridge and climb that hill to place yourself in front of beautiful mountain views. Moving ahead you will see the view of Cho La Pass(5,420m) and Cho La Lake. You will trek by the sides of the lake before arriving at the downhill trail. And that descent will take you through several villages before reaching Dzonglha. Night rest at Dzonglha.

12Trek from Dzonglha to Gokyo via Cho La Pass
It is one of the eventful days of Everest Three High Passes Trekking. The reason is, you will trek down one of three high passes of Everest region. Cho La Pass(5420m) will be waiting for you at the top. Hence, pack your backpack and have tight breakfast before setting out on the trail. The walk upto pass is steep and a bit difficult so be careful while heading up. After an hour, you will reach the top to enjoy the breathtaking views of Everest region. Peaks like Amma Dablam, Lhotse with Cho La Lake can be easily viewed from the height. After the eye dropping views, you will trek towards Gokyo village but before that you have to reach Thangnak. It is easy to reach Thangnak from the top because the trails are descending.But, the descent will be over a rocky trail, so watch out your steps clearly. Thangnak is a beautiful small settlement which will serve you a delicious lunch break. Moving out from the Thangnak, you will reach the edge of Ngozumpa Glacier. It is the longest glacier that resides in the Himalayas. And crossing the glacier via edges, you will get sight of one of the Gokyo lakes. There are six pristine lakes in the group of Gokyo lakes. Today you will see two of them before reaching the Gokyo village. The Gokyo III lake sits around the Gokyo village.

13Rest and exploration day at Gokyo Ri
Gokyo is a place with many tourist attractions. The visitors can enjoy a good time here with beautiful lakes, catchy landscapes and ever-bright mountains. You can do a lot of things in Gokyo and this is why one whole day is scheduled as the Gokyo exploration day. Among all the things, the hike to Gokyo Ri is the most worthy and exciting one. Therefore, you will hike up to Gokyo Ri(5350m) which is just over the village. Gokyo Ri is reachable within 2 hours of trek from Gokyo village. While hiking up, some other Gokyo lakes will also occur along the trail. People hike this peak to enjoy the alluring views of Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu and some more. And lake view from the top is of another level. Enjoy the view before falling back to the Gokyo village. The village will offer you a warm hospitality and food.

14Trek from Gokyo to cross Renjo La Pass before Lungden
Upto this day you have crossed two high passes of Everest region. And it's time for Renjo La Pass(5,360m) , the last pass of Everest Three High Pass Trekking. So with good energy, you will start the day trek by leaving Gokyo village. You have to walk sides of the Dudh Pokhari to escape Gokyo village. The walk will be quite enjoyable as the lake will wave you a sweet goodbye. Then soon after that comes a hill slope and it is 3 hours ascent to reach Renjo La Pass. After completing the strenuous hike to Renjo La, you can have the view of widely stretched mountains and hills. The view from here is more or less similar like the two prior passes. You can taste the view of lakes and mountains in a single gaze. Done with the view and you got to descend through western ridge route of Renjo La Pass. That route connects the Lungden at the end for your night stay. The area around Renjo La Pass is a bit rough and difficult to hike on. And you will find difficulty while descending from the pass so be careful all the time. While on the trail to Lungden, you will get to see some unheard but beautiful lakes of Gokyo region. Renjo Lake, Relamo Tsho Lake, Angladumba lake are some of them. And then comes the Lungden after all the hurdles from the pass through the rough and lake bounded trails.

15Trek from Lungden to Thame Village
After the comfortable stay at Lungden it is time to move to your next destination, Thame Village. Thame is a nice-looking village with the famous Thame Monastery and some houses. Today’s trek is easy as you have to walk only for 4 hours through narrow trails. You have to make a gentle descent from the Marulung before ending at the riverbed of Bhotekoshi River. The trail from the river consists of some ups and downs until Taranga village. Take a break and lunch before making the slow descent to Thame village. Taranga to Thame village is an easy and comfortable downhill hike. After reaching the Thame village, you can tour its Thame Monastery and settlements. Take blessings from the monastery before reaching out for night sleep.

16Trek from Thame to Namche Bazaar
You are on the brink of completing the long Everest Three High Passes Trekking. It's time to trek back to Namche Bazaar from Thame village. You will wave goodbye to Thame in the early morning after breakfast. Namche Bazaar is 4 to 5 hours away from the Thame village. You will sail through other sherpa settlements and forested trails before reaching the Namche Bazaar. It will be an easy hike, no need to hurry. Soon after that hike, you will be back at Namche Bazaar again. It is bonus time to explore the Namche Bazaar, if you have missed out on the first encounter. Namche Bazaar is the center of Khumbu region fueled with numbers of shops, cafes, restaurants and houses. Go and explore the market and if you have missed some dishes so much, you can finally have it here at the Namche.

17Trek from Namche to Lukla
After two regular trekking days, it is time to push yourself hard for one last time on this trek. The trek from Namche to Lukla is 7 to 8 hours within which you will cover a distance of 14 km. Your hike will be through much more green trails than the past days where you will get to walk through rhododendron trees. The walk is long but the scenic trails make you forget the distance and tiredness. Enjoy as much as you can on this last day of Everest Three High Passes Trekking.

18Fly back to Kathmandu
Your long but beautiful journey of Everest Three High Pass Trekking ends after the flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. It takes 30 minutes to reach Kathmandu from Lukla. After the arrival at Kathmandu, you will get a hotel transfer to your hotel. Take rest and remember all of the good times of the trek.
